Purpose of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan
A Comprehensive Land Use Plan is designed to guide the future actions of a community. The plan outlines long-range goals and objectives to help guide future growth, preservation, and investments over the next 10-20 years.
Public input will be gathered to create a vision for the community's future. Important topics of the plan are future growth areas, housing, transportation, natural resources, parks & recreation, agriculture, and public services - like water, sewer, roads, and emergency services.
This site will be used to share project information, gather public feedback, and advertise key meeting dates. Draft maps and plan documents will be shared as they become available. Read on and stay involved!
